Description
Two-bolt cleat patterns share the same hole spacing across brands, but that doesn't mean the cleats themselves interchange. Time ATAC Cleats use a platform geometry specific to Time's mountain pedal system, and they won't work with Shimano SPD or other two-bolt pedals despite fitting the same shoes. If you're running Time ATAC pedals on your XC, gravel, or cyclocross rig, these are the replacement cleats you need.
The ATAC system uses brass cleat bodies paired with steel mounting hardware. Brass handles the engagement and release interface while resisting the corrosion that comes with riding in wet conditions. The material choice also contributes to the self-cleaning behavior Time pedals are known for. Mud and debris get pushed aside each time you step in rather than packing into the mechanism.
Float options let you dial in how much lateral movement your foot has before the release point. The 13/17° version gives you a choice of release angles by swapping left and right cleats between shoes. Mount them one way for 13° of release resistance, flip them for 17° when you want a firmer hold. The 10° Easy cleats offer a single, lower-resistance setting for riders who prioritize quick exits, whether that's urban stop-and-go or technical sections where getting a foot down fast matters....
