Description
Knee strain during long rides often traces back to cleats that lock your foot into a fixed position. The Time Iclic Xpro-Xpresso Free Floating Cleats address this with +/-5° of angular float and +/-1.25mm of lateral movement along the pedal axle, allowing your joints to track naturally through each pedal stroke. These are the stock cleats that ship with all Xpro and Xpresso pedals, so if yours are worn, this is the direct replacement.
Three-bolt mounting works with standard road cycling shoes, but the Iclic interface itself is specific to Time. These cleats won't engage with Look Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, or other three-bolt road pedal systems despite the shared bolt pattern on your shoes. The same applies to older Time pedals like the RXS, RXE, and Impact series, which use a different retention mechanism entirely.
Bi-material thermoplastic construction handles the durability equation from two angles. The engagement interface manages the clip-in mechanics while integrated stabilizers on the underside grip when you're walking. These walking pads sit outside the retention system, so wearing them down doesn't change how the cleat engages or releases. Pronounced alignment marks outside the bolt slots help you match the position of worn cleats when swapping in a fresh set.... Read More
