The Wahoo Speedplay Nano Pedals are the flagship dual-sided road pedals in the Speedplay lineup. The pedal body is constructed from carbon composite with a titanium spindle and triple-sealed cartridge and needle bearings. At 168 grams per pair, these are among the lightest road pedals available, which comes with a tradeoff: Wahoo specifies a maximum rider weight of 180 pounds for the Nano. If you're over that limit, the Zero or Aero pedals use stainless steel spindles without the weight restriction.

The symmetrical design lets you clip in from either side, which eliminates the need to flip the pedal over at stoplights or when sprinting out of corners. The pedals ship with Standard Tension cleats that include integrated cleat surrounds for an aerodynamic profile. The release angle is micro-adjustable from zero to 7.5 degrees, giving you control over how much rotational force is needed before the cleat releases. If you want an easier release for training rides or getting comfortable with the system, you can purchase Easy Tension cleats separately that use a lighter-action spring mechanism.

The cleat system provides independent three-axis adjustability that lets you dial in your position without compromise. You get up to 14 millimeters of fore-aft movement to position the cleat exactly where your foot needs to be over the pedal spindle, plus up to eight millimeters of side-to-side adjustment to accommodate different shoe widths or foot angles.
