Description
The Wahoo Speedplay Power Single-Sided combines the Speedplay pedal platform with a left-side power meter. The power sensor lives in the left pedal, measuring your left leg output and doubling it to estimate total watts. The right pedal is a standard Speedplay Zero. If you're looking to add power data without the cost of dual-sided measurement, this is the entry point into the Speedplay Power system.
Power accuracy is rated at plus or minus one percent, which puts it in line with dedicated power meters from other manufacturers. An internal gyroscope handles cadence measurement, so you don't need a separate sensor. The pedals broadcast over both ANT+ and Bluetooth simultaneously—up to three Bluetooth connections and unlimited ANT+ devices at once. That means you can run a head unit, a phone app, and a smart trainer without pairing conflicts.
The pedal body uses the same dual-sided entry as the non-power Speedplay models. You clip in from either side without flipping, which matters at stoplights and race starts. Stack height is 13mm with three-hole shoes, slightly taller than the standard Zero due to the power pod housing. The stainless steel spindle and triple sealed cartridge bearings carry over from the rest of the Speedplay line, as does the 39-degree cornering clearance.... Read More
