The Wahoo Speedplay Standard Tension Cleats are the engagement system that ships with Speedplay Zero, Nano, and Aero pedals. These cleats use a spring mechanism with a release angle that's micro-adjustable from zero to 7.5 degrees, giving you control over how much rotational force is needed before the cleat releases from the pedal. The standard tension setting requires more force to unclip than the Easy Tension cleats, which makes them suited to riders who want a secure connection during hard efforts or sprints.

The cleat system provides independent three-axis adjustability without requiring you to compromise one setting to achieve another. Fore-aft adjustment gives you up to 13 millimeters of movement to position the cleat exactly where your foot needs to be over the pedal spindle. Side-to-side adjustment provides up to six millimeters of lateral movement to accommodate different shoe widths or the natural angle of your feet.
