The thread-together design handles the width variation while maintaining proper bearing preload and chainline positioning for your Shimano crankset.

Two machined aluminum cups thread into each other through the 46mm press-fit shell, clamping the assembly in place and eliminating the micro-movement that causes creaking in standard press-fit installations.
