Description

Seatpost selection often comes down to two factors: does it fit your frame, and does it hold your saddle where you need it. The Zipp Service Course SL handles both with an aluminum construction that keeps weight reasonable while providing enough material for secure clamping. The two-bolt head design allows fore-aft saddle adjustment along with angle changes, giving you the range to dial in position without fighting the hardware.

The 7075 aluminum construction offers a strength-to-weight ratio that sits above the more common 6061 alloy, which matters when you're torquing a clamp against a carbon saddle rail. Zipp machines the post with a 20mm setback that positions the saddle slightly behind the seatpost centerline—a geometry that works well for riders who prefer their weight distributed toward the rear of the saddle rather than perched over the nose. The setback measurement remains consistent across all diameter options, so switching between bikes with different seat tube sizes won't change your effective saddle position relative to the bottom bracket.

Available in 27.2mm and 31.6mm diameters covers the majority of road and gravel frames currently on the market. The 31.6mm size handles most modern carbon frames with oversized seat tubes, while the 27.2mm fits traditional aluminum and steel frames along with some carbon bikes that use the smaller standard. Both diameters come in 350mm and 400mm lengths, with the longer option providing adjustment range for frames with shorter seat tubes or riders who need extended height.... Read More
