Description
Training without power data means guessing whether intervals hit the right zones. The Rally RS110 from Garmin measures power output directly at the pedals, tracking total power and cadence from the left pedal with ±1% accuracy. The single-sensing design doubles left-leg measurements to calculate total power, providing reliable data without the cost of dual-sided systems. If left-right balance metrics become important later, the spindles transfer to Rally RS210 dual-sensing pedal bodies without replacing the entire system.
Garmin redesigned the RS110 with a carbon fiber pedal body that reduces weight while maintaining durability. The pedals accept Shimano SPD-SL cleats using the three-bolt mounting pattern. Stack height measures 12.2mm and Q-factor sits at 53mm, or 55mm with the included spacer. The large platform distributes pressure across the foot and provides stable power transfer. The carbon construction improves cornering clearance compared to bulkier aluminum designs.
The rechargeable battery eliminates the need to swap coin cells. A full charge delivers up to 90 hours of ride time, covering several weeks of training or multiple days of endurance efforts. Quick charging provides 12 hours of riding from just 15 minutes plugged in. Travel mode puts the pedals to sleep during transport, conserving battery when the bike is packed.
