Sixteen vents and ports define the Flow Through Ventilation of the Strym. This concept is commonplace now, but Rudy has been using this for some time, which explains why it works great, yet is very quiet. The system is augmented by Adaptive Airframe Band. The airframe frontal padding minimizes the sweating process inside the helmet enhancing the air circulation and avoiding the release of unpleasant smells and ensuring the best level of performance.

Structurally Rudy uses In-Mold technology to cast the external polycarbonate outer shell directly during the injection stage of the expandable polystyrene (EPS) impact-absorbing foam. The result is a much more rigid structure which is knock-resistant and extremely light, allowing for better ventilation system.
