Bought this bag recently, I ride on the normal roads but with some rough patches. In my secod ride out I bunny-hopped a pothole and the clip broke at the hinge that connects to the bag. It wasn't overloaded. I would not recommend unless you ride only on very smooth surfaces. I like the bag, so now I will go for the strap version.

Already had a Fizik saddle, so I thought I would try this pack to avoid the typical strap around the seat post that ends up leaving rub marks and often causing extra wear on my shorts. This pack solved these problems, but when I loaded it with a couple of tubes, a couple of CO2 cartridges and inflator, and tire irons, and rode on some rough paved roads, the plastic clip that inserts into the seat broke -- hit a pothole and the pack went flying onto the shoulder! I guess it would be OK with less weight, but that seemed like a normal load.
